Therapies
We value therapies as an integral part of our learner's development. We have an occupational therapist as well as a speech and language therapist who work with us to support the provision within learner's EHCP's. They assess and develop pupils' programmes as well as support our staff development and skills in their specialist areas.
We have a whole school approach to sensory breaks and at lunchtimes we provide a variety of physical activities that include sensory circuits and physical development, both gross and fine.
The school has a wellbeing dog, Milo, who the learners enjoy being part of our school community and who supports learners when they are feeling anxious.
Our focus for development is working towards becoming an accredited Trauma Informed School.
